Author’s Note
Hey everyone!
First of all, thank you so much for clicking on this story. This is my first book on Wattpad, and honestly, I’m both nervous and excited to share it with you all. Writing has always been a way for me to express emotions, and this story is really close to my heart.
This isn’t just a love story—it’s about emotions, trust, and two people figuring out what they truly mean to each other. There might be some mistakes here and there (please bear with me!), but I promise to improve as I go. Your support, comments, and feedback mean the world to me!
I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it. Let’s go on this journey together!
Much love,
❤️❤️

~Prologue~
I stood there, feeling a little shy but strangely calm. Hriday, on the other hand, looked nervous—something I had never really seen before. He scratched the back of his neck, his usual confidence nowhere in sight.
“So… uh… we are, I mean, you are my… I mean…” he stammered, his words tumbling over each other in the most awkward yet endearing way. I had never seen him struggle like this before, and somehow, it made me feel more at ease.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, he managed to say, “We’re together now.”
A soft smile tugged at my lips as warmth crept into my cheeks. His nervousness, so genuine and unguarded, made my heart ache in the sweetest way. I lowered my gaze slightly, feeling the weight of the moment settle around us.
“Yes… we are,” I murmured, my voice barely above a whisper.
Hriday cleared his throat, trying to compose himself, but I could still see the flicker of uncertainty in his eyes. “So… can we go out tomorrow? If… if you don’t mind?”
I lifted my gaze, meeting his. There was something about the warmth in his eyes, the way he was looking at me, that made my heart skip a beat. I nodded, a small smile playing on my lips.
“Okay.”
For a brief moment, his face lit up with excitement before he quickly masked it, trying to act nonchalant. “ where do you want to go? On our first date?” he asked, his voice softer now, almost shy.
I thought about it for a moment, letting my heart guide my answer. “Mandir,” I said simply.
“Mandir?” he repeated, his eyebrows raising slightly in surprise.
I nodded, the idea settling warmly in my heart. “Yes. I want to start this new journey with you by taking God’s blessings.”
He stared at me for a moment, as if my words had caught him off guard. Then, slowly, a smile spread across his lips, one that made my heart flutter.
“Mandir it is, then,” he said, his voice filled with sincerity.
We stood there, smiling at each other, the air between us charged with something unspoken yet deeply understood. In that quiet moment, everything else faded away, leaving only the warmth of our new beginning.
“Thank you, Ananya,” he said suddenly, his tone so soft it felt like a secret meant only for me.
I blinked, a little confused. “For what?”
“For saying yes, for coming into my life,” he replied, his eyes holding mine with a depth that made my heart feel full.
A deeper smile found its way to my lips, a mix of happiness and shyness settling in my chest.
As I stood there, looking at him, I realized how much had changed between us. And for the first time, the idea of being together didn’t feel overwhelming. It felt right.
